Sydney Schaefer - Psychology Today Profile

“My approach to therapy is rooted in warmth, authenticity, and collaboration. I believe that meaningful growth occurs within a trusting relationship where clients feel safe to explore their experiences and emotions with curiosity and compassion. Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)–informed approaches, I help clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience.

I’m passionate about supporting adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, panic, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, and questions of identity and purpose. My work emphasizes helping clients reconnect with their values, cultivate self-compassion, and build practical skills to create more balanced and fulfilling lives.”
