Kabita Roy - Psychology Today Profile

Mind Health, LLC

“Your path to health and happiness begins with nurturing the body, mind, and spirit. As a licensed psychologist, I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, relationship and self-esteem issues, life transitions, and multicultural concerns. With a respectful, compassionate, and culturally sensitive approach, I draw on evidence-based therapies to support meaningful healing and lasting change.

My background includes clinical training at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, where I developed expertise in 12-Step recovery, particularly with healthcare professionals and their families. I also bring experience from postdoctoral work with Native American communities and a prior career in nursing, enriching my understanding of the connection between culture, physical health, and mental well-being. My integrative approach includes CBT, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma-focused therapy, mindfulness training, and when appropriate, spiritual integration - to support you in building a “life worth living.”
