Kandee Timmerman, M.S.W., L.I.C.S.W.

Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker

At the heart of Kandee' s work is a profound commitment to honoring the individuality of each client's healing journey. She believes that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process-it is a deeply personal and evolving path toward self-discovery, resilience, and wholeness. Through a collaborative, tailored approach, Kandee helps clients reconnect with their authentic selves by integrating traditional therapeutic techniques with holistic, somatic, and integrative therapies.

With extensive experience in mental health therapy, Kandee specializes in supporting individuals, families, and adolescents through life's emotional challenges. She employs Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and somatic-based interventions to help clients heal from anxiety, depression, PTSD, and trauma. Her EMDRIA Level II training and countless advanced trainings in dissociation and complex trauma underscores her expertise in trauma-focused care, while her passion for somatic healing ensures that clients are supported in mind, body, and spirit.

Throughout their career, Kandee has worked with well-respected mental health organizations such as CenterLife Counseling and The Emily Program, providing compassionate support for adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and eating disorders. Her holistic approach acknowledges the importance of integrating the body's wisdom into therapy, helping clients process emotions through mindfulness, nervous system regulation practices, and breathwork.

Kandee's commitment to individualized, integrative healing is reflected in her experience as the Owner of Indigo Therapy and Healing and Co-Founder of Willow Tree Healing Center. These roles allowed her to deepen their focus on trauma-informed therapy, recognizing that true healing comes from addressing the whole person—not just symptoms

At Minnesota Center for Psychology, Kandee fosters a safe and nurturing space where clients are invited to embrace their unique healing process, whether through traditional therapeutic models or somatic and integrative modalities that bridge the connection between body and mind. Her mission is simple yet profound: to help people reconnect with themselves in a way that is authentic, healing, and transformative.
