Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Young Adult Skills Groups (18-23)

While all MCP DBT clients 18 years of age and older can attend the adult Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills groups at MCP, some individuals choose to participate in the young adult (YA) specific DBT groups which are open to clients 18 to 23 years old. Clients participating in DBT skill group also participate in DBT individual psychotherapy.

MCP currently offers two young adult skills groups that meet once a week via telehealth.  YA Groups are held on Tuesdays from 12:00-2:30 pm and Thursdays from 12:00-2:30 pm. 

MCP also offers an Emerging Adults DBT group, which is open to clients age 20 to 30. This group is held on Tuesdays via telehealth from 5:00-7:30 pm.

An initial assessment is completed with each individual interested in receiving DBT services to discuss reason/s for seeking services, identify problems, strengths, goals, and recommendations, and determine diagnosis/es (if applicable).


Most types of insurance are accepted, as is private pay. Please contact your insurance company to determine your level of coverage.
