Psychological Evaluations for Children, Adolescents and Adults

MCP provides psychological evaluations for people ages 6 years old and higher.  Evaluations may be conducted using a variety of means to gather information relevant to the presenting question or concern.  These means may include a diagnostic interview (typically 1-2 hours), psychological testing, and gathering collateral information from sources surrounding the client (e.g., family, school teachers or other health care providers).  We strive to provide comprehensive and helpful answers to the particular question or concern a client or parent wishes to address.  The most common types of evaluations we provide include questions related to personality disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), cognitive functioning or IQ, and several other severe mental illness (e.g., Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder).  It should be noted that we do not currently see clients who are seeking court-ordered evaluations or who are otherwise involved in legal proceedings (e.g., custody disputes).

Most types of insurance are accepted, as is private pay. Clients are strongly encouraged to contact their insurance company to determine their level of coverage, as coverage for these services often varies.  For more information, to make a referral, or to schedule an appointment, please contact our front desk at 651-644-4100.
