Children’s Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS) is a supportive program for children with emotional issues and their families to improve their functioning at home, school, and in the community. These rehabilitative services are provided to restore the child to a level of functioning that they had either achieved before or would have achieved if their development had not been impaired because of a mental health disorder.
CTSS Services include individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, individual skills training (at home and/or in the community), and group skills training.
Clients appropriate for CTSS include children ages 5 to 21 years of age with emotional issues and/or behavior problems at home, school, or in the community who have eligibility for Medical Assistance or Minnesota Care health insurance. Private-pay for the skills training groups is also available.
An emotion regulation coping skills group for elementary age children is held every Monday evening from 5:00-6:30pm. Referrals are now being accepted. For more information on this group, click here.
For more information, to make a referral, or to schedule an intake, please contact Dr. Andrea Anderson, CTSS Clinical Supervisor at 651-644-4100 x16 or Kristin Standafer, CTSS Administrator at 651-644-4100 x 23.
